Season: March 15th - September 30th

Let me take you to one of our beautiful Brown Trout venues, hidden away in the Eden valley. Here you will find an abundance of trout which can be caught on wet fly, nymph or dry fly tactics, from March 15th to September 30th. Sit back and take in some of the breathtaking surroundings, learn all about the life cycle of the species and its feeding habits, and then put it all into practice on the river. Have a go at some of the slack line casts that will be covered throughout the course to combat different situations on the river, such as natural obstacles and avoiding drag where necessary (i.e. skating flies) in fast flowing areas. Hot beverages will also be at hand throughout the day. Bookings now being taken.

 

• All courses include a fully qualified and insured AAPGAI instructor.

• Course prices are based on a maximum booking of 3 people.

• Hot beverages are available throughout the day, but packed lunches are required.

• Fly fishing equipment can be provided for a small fee of £10pp per day.

To avoid disappointment, please book well in advance)   Courses will run from 10:00am until 4:00pm and the cost for up to 3 people will be £295. A Minimum deposit of £100 will be required to guarantee your course dates. Your instructor will be fully qualified, fully insured, and trained in first aid. All attendees must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence for Non-Migratory Fish. A one-day licence can be purchased online, or from most post offices, at a cost of £6 Please bring chest waders, a packed lunch, and waterproof clothing.
